The charitable Marauders are a ragtag group of adventures from throughout Ixoa and places beyond. Their core formed years ago out of a common need to put and end to a particularity unruly group of bandits operating in an abandoned fort outside south west of Milltown. Since then the group decided to stick together and set out on a journey that took them away from the lands of Ixoa for several years. More recently the group has returned to Ixoa at the request of the Duke of Dol'ket Notting. They have successfully conducted operations throughout Ixoa, notably putting down a goblin tribe invasion near Falloway Camp and the discovery and successful put down of an illegal weapons cartel in Mainstay. One of thier group members Jak recently found fame in the Arena in mainstay as well. the Group has gained fame and notoriety all around the Kingdom and especially in Mainstay where the cartel they broke-up had been harassing many citizens for years.

Race: Minotaur
Class: Barbarian
Background: Jak was a member of the Thavok Clan. The clan can trace it's history back to the founding of the labyrinth city of Leng. The landscape of Leng is situated in the confounding craigs of a volcano. The clan has been meeting victory after victory in these halls against armies 100 fold the size of the defending force. Members of the clan dedicate their lives to building and defending the many halls, paths, and causeways. They rely on their knowledge of the labyrinth to out maneuver foes time and again. Eventually, doom came upon Clan Thavok, and Clan Thavok was powerless to stop it because the enemy came from within. A rival clan attacked clan Thavok, framing Clan Thavok for numerous dishonorable acts. The rival clan convinced the other clans that all of Clan Thavok had stained their souls, and become servants of Baphomet, the Horned King. Much of Clan Thavok were killed or exiled. An exiled Minotaur has one of his horns filed down, as an identifiable symbol of their dishonor. Any such minotaur found in Leng would be immediately attacked, and minotaurs from other cities will look down upon such outcasts. Jak was exiled and now wanders the open world, trying to reconcile his banishment. The injustice of his plight burns him with rage, which he lets out on any who stand in his way. Jak finds he likes the power his rage gives him, but it worries him that every time he indulges his blood lust he moves one step closer to becoming Baphomet's servant. Jak searches for an honorable pursuit worthy of his formidable talents.

Race: Thri-Kreen
Class: Ranger
Background: Hakka comes from exotic lands far to the West of Ixoa across the vast Samara desert. His people are astutely adapted for life in the harsh savannahs in which they live. Here they have built many massive mud tower cities that dominate the landscape for many miles. All of these great earthen towers are connected by an elaborate series of underground passages the allow the Thri-Kreen to move and trade between colonies, with out fear of the savannahs harsh dry sun or the many terrible predators that lurk the area. To the southwest of the Thri-Kreen's home land lies a forbidding tropical rainforest that is rich in both resources as well as danger. Here the Thri-Kreen gather many of their resources including water, food and materials. The mightiest of their warriors learn to hunt and stalk the jungles more fearsome creatures who command the respect of any who encounter them. Little is known about Hakka's past, even amongst the members of his own group, as the Thri-Kreens rarely speaks more then a few words and few in the group can even understand his unique speech patterns. What is well known is that the group meet the skilled Ranger on one of their adventures in lands far distant from Ixoa and that he is a deadly aim with a bow, a daring and skilled tracker and a loyal compatriot.

Race: Shardmind
Class: Psion
Background: Waking up on the shore, not knowing who or what I was. I’ve spent my life to figuring out those precise answers. In my search it became abundantly clear that I was not from around here, and I have this power inside of me. Controlling these powers was harder than it seems, however as I learn I grow stronger. And then there’s how I look. What I’ve learned is that I am was they call a shardmind. I don’t eat, I don’t drink, I exist. Though it took me many years to accept this, I have come to learn and appreciate my very nature. What I do know through my search is that: 1) I came to exist because another like me ceased existing. For that I hold my existence as something to show that I’ve earned. 2) I am able to take on the shape of what I choose. As you can see I have chosen to look as a humanoid. 3) I grow stronger the more and more I learn. 4) I will not stop until I have found the answers to who I am.
